We help students and families experience the joy of learning and create meaningful change
The emotional connection to Oak Meadow for our son has been amazing to witness. We have tried other curriculums but we just come back to Oak Meadow. I like that it is gentle and is a starting point for more learning to happen naturally. We usually finish the weekly lesson early and then move on to whatever my son wants to do, experience, or learn!

Oak Meadow has been an integral part of our curriculum for four years now, and we’re looking forward to many more stimulating, exciting, educational years to come! We also love that Oak Meadow is SO nature-centered and hands-on, two things that cause our children constant joy in their learning experience!

My experience at Oak Meadow was special because they taught me that education was not limited to a classroom; they taught me that I could be educated by living. I enjoyed my education being integrated into my daily life and interests and felt fully engaged and excited about what I was learning, unlike my experience with online and public school.
Oak Meadow High School Student
Founded in 1975, Oak Meadow provides a flexible, Waldorf-inspired education for independent learners in preschool to grade 12.
At Oak Meadow, we see you as a traveler on a journey of learning—a fellow educator, not just a customer. We’re here for you, we listen to you, and we’ll support and guide you through one of the most important decisions you’ll make as a parent: how to educate your child.
Our book-based curriculum can be used independently by homeschoolers, or through enrollment in our teacher-supported distance learning school. Our approach is compassionate and student-centered because we believe that children are sensitive and intelligent and that learning can be joyfully integrated into life.
